Rishi M.S. Institute of Engineering And Technology For Women is recognized by, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Government of Telangana, and Affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), Hyderabad.

Institute runs according to the policy and rules made by the Government of Telangana and JNTUH which can be amended from time to time. The college has various committees to maintain all types of discipline in the campus. All the Cells/Clubs or Committees of the College are formed as per the Rules and regulations of AICTE and Affiliated University. The Right to Information Act 2005 was passed to provide information to the public and make necessary arrangements to promote transparency in the work.

In pursuance of the RTI Act 2005, the principal of the college has been designated as PIO and he will perform the duties and responsibilities under the Act.
