The National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell at Rishi MS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women plays a pivotal role in nurturing social responsibility, leadership, and civic consciousness among our students. In keeping with the NSS Cell’s primary objective of “Not Me, But You”, volunteers are encouraged to take an active role in nation-building and community service projects.
The NSS Cell fosters a spirit of selfless service through regular initiatives such as medical camps, health awareness drives, tree plantation, Swachh Bharat campaigns, and women empowerment programs. It also conducts special camps in adopted schools – ZPHS, Shivam Nagar Village, Jinnaram Mandal (RRD) and ZPH Primary School, Shamshiguda Village, Kukatpally Mandal (MD), focusing on health, hygiene, and environmental sustainability.
The NSS Cell empowers students to become socially aware, empathetic, and confident individuals. It offers a transformative platform where young women learn the value of collective action and contribute meaningfully to the development of society. Through sessions on Cyber Crime, Menstrual Hygiene, Road Safety, motivational sessions, cancer awareness programs, and more, the NSS Cell fosters a spirit of selfless service.
